Gijjha Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,讲述菩萨转生为兀鹫,一位商人曾在暴风雨中庇护其族群,兀鹫群为报恩而将珠宝掉落商人的花园,用以称赞一位比丘对贫困双亲的孝心。
A birth-story of the Bodhisatta born among vultures who, after a merchant sheltered his flock from a storm, arranged for jewellery to be dropped in the merchant’s garden as thanks, told to praise a monk’s gratitude toward his poor parents.

Jātaka一则本生故事,讲述菩萨转生为兀鹫,其身为鹫王的强壮之子不听父亲劝阻,飞得过高而被狂风撞死,用以譬喻一位厌恶受教诲的不听话比丘。
A birth-story of the Bodhisatta as a vulture whose strong son, king of the vultures, ignored his father’s warning, flew too high, and was dashed to death by fierce winds, told in reference to a disobedient monk who resented instruction.
