《마하수타소마 자타카》에 등장하는 식인왕 포리사다의 총사령관으로, 왕에게 퇴위를 권했고 이후 식인 습성을 고친 왕이 왕위를 되찾도록 도왔다. 사리풋타의 전생으로 여겨진다.
