一則本生故事，講述一位因隨身攜帶鐵鏟而得名「鐵鏟賢者」的園丁，將鐵鏟擲入河中方斷除對俗世的執著，國王與眾人隨後皆追隨他出家。

A Jātaka about a gardener nicknamed after his spade, who finally overcame his attachment to worldly life by throwing the spade into a river, after which the king and many others followed him into the ascetic life.
