Magadha
Person仏陀の時代の四大王国の一つで、ラージャガハからビンビサーラ、続いてアジャータサットゥによって治められ、後に首都はパータリプッタへ移り、アショーカ王の治世までインドの政治権力の中心地となった。
One of the four chief kingdoms of the Buddha’s time, ruled from Rājagaha by Bimbisāra and then Ajātasattu before the capital moved to Pāṭaliputta, and later the seat of political power in India down to the reign of Asoka.
