Person再生も業の果報もないと主張していたが、クマーラ・カッサパに論駁されて改心した、死後は下級の神々の中に生まれ、そこから正しく敬意をもって布施をするよう人々に勧めた、セタッビャーの首長。
A chieftain of Setabyā who held that there was no rebirth or fruit of action until debated and converted by Kumāra-Kassapa, and who, after death, was reborn among the lower gods, from where he urged proper, respectful almsgiving.
