Samudda Jātaka
Jātaka講述一位海神(菩薩)的本生故事:牠見一隻貪婪的水鴉警告魚群飛禽莫飲太多海水以免海洋枯竭,便化作可怖之相將其嚇走;此故事關聯到釋迦族比丘優波難陀的貪婪,其即那隻水鴉。
A Jātaka about a sea-spirit, the Bodhisatta, who assumes a terrifying shape to frighten off a greedy water-crow warning fish and birds not to drink too much lest they empty the sea — told with reference to the great greed of Upananda the Sakyan, identified with the crow.
