Somadatta Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,讲述菩萨降生为阿祇达多(Aggidatta)之子,因比丘罗楼陀夷(Lāḷudāyī)之事而说,罗楼陀夷即被认作故事中的阿祇达多。

Jātaka一则本生故事,讲述一位婆罗门苦行者收养名为苏摩达多(Somadatta)的小象,象死后极度悲伤,菩萨化身帝释前来劝慰,此故事因一位比丘为亡故沙弥悲恸而说。
A Jātaka about a brahmin ascetic who adopted an elephant calf named Somadatta and was consoled by Sakka in the form of the Bodhisatta after grieving over its death, told in reference to a monk’s grief over the death of his novice.
