왕족 제자가 언젠가 자기 아들에게 목숨을 위협받으리라 미리 내다본 스승에 관한 자타카로, 위급한 순간에 외울 네 편의 보호 게송을 전수하니 그 게송이 수십 년 뒤 실제로 왕의 목숨을 구했다는 이야기이며, 아들이 자신을 죽이리라는 예언에도 아자타삿투를 계속 사랑한 빔비사라 왕과 관련해 설해졌다.

A Jātaka about a teacher who foresees that his royal student will one day face a mortal threat from his own son and equips him with four protective verses to recite at critical moments, verses that indeed save the king’s life decades later, told in connection with King Bimbisāra’s continued love for Ajātasattu despite a prophecy that his son would kill him.
