一则本生故事，讲一位老师预见自己的王族弟子日后将遭亲生儿子谋害，遂教他四首偈颂，嘱其在关键时刻诵念以自保，数十年后这位已登基为王的弟子果然因儿子密谋弑父而险遭不测，却靠这些偈颂逃过一劫，此事与频婆娑罗王明知预言其子将弑父仍深爱阿阇世王有关。

A Jātaka about a teacher who foresees that his royal student will one day face a mortal threat from his own son and equips him with four protective verses to recite at critical moments, verses that indeed save the king’s life decades later, told in connection with King Bimbisāra’s continued love for Ajātasattu despite a prophecy that his son would kill him.
