Cây bồ-đề được A-nan trồng ở lối vào tinh xá Jetavana, dùng chồi non từ cây gốc tại Gayā, để các tín đồ có thể chiêm bái khi Đức Phật vắng mặt.

The bodhi tree planted at the entrance of Jetavana by Ānanda, using a sapling from the original tree at Gayā, so that devotees could pay homage in the Buddha’s absence.
