형의 조언에 따라 부처님을 위해 보석으로 화려하게 장식한 향실을 짓고 그 헌납식에서 수백만 비구를 대접한 반두마띠의 거사로, 훗날 이 시대에 부호 조띠까로 다시 태어났다

A householder of Bandhumatī who, on his brother’s advice, built a lavishly bejewelled fragrant chamber for the Buddha and entertained millions of monks at its dedication, later reborn in this age as the banker Jotika.

앞선 인물의 조카로, 향실 건축에 참여를 거절당하자 대신 그 옆에 코끼리 마구간을 지었고, 훗날 이 시대에 부호 멘다까로 다시 태어났다
