Corābhaya
Person아누라다푸라 근처의 도적으로, 그의 무리에게 음식을 베푼 마하아바야 장로의 자비에 감동하여 체티야기리로 향하는 순례자들의 안전한 통행을 지키는 보호자가 되었다.
A brigand, who set up his stronghold between Anurādhapura and Cetiyagiri. He once came with his followers to plunder Cetiyagiri monastery, but Dīghabhāṇakā Mahā-Abhaya Thera (q.v.), hearing of his intentions, gave orders that the robbers should be given a meal of the monastery food. This so pleased Corābhaya that from that time he undertook to provide safe passage for all pilgrims to Cetiyagiri (Sp.ii.474).
Corābhaya is generally classed with Coranāga and, both are said to have been born after death in Lokantarikaniraya with bodies three furlongs (gāvuta) in height. AA.ii.532; MA.ii.920; DA.ii.433.
