Place콜리야족의 소도시로, 부처님이 푼나 콜리야뿟타와 개의 행을 실천하는 고행자 세니야에게 『쿡쿠라와티카 숫따』를 설하신 곳.
A township of the Koliyā.
The Buddha, when staying there, taught the Kukkuravatika Sutta to Puṇṇa Koliyaputta and Seniya Kukkuravatika. M.i.387. See also S.v.115 f., where another Buddha is mentioned as having taught a discourse there.
