Chief of the Kesadhātus (q.v.) For some time he carried on the government at Rohaṇa, where he defeated the Damiḷā. He refused to own allegiance to Kitti (later Vijayabāhu I), and after six months of rule in Khadiraṅgani, full of resentment that his services against the Damiḷā had not been recognised, he marched against Kitti and was slain in a battle near Kājaragāma.
