L’épouse du sous-roi Udaya, qu’il épousa en l’absence du roi Sena Ier bien qu’elle fût sous la protection du roi, une offense que celui-ci finit par pardonner.

Wife of the Ādipāda Udaya. She was the daughter of his maternal uncle and was under the protection of King Sena I, but Udaya married her during an absence of the king and took her to Pulatthinagara. The king, however, forgave him. Cv.l.9; see also Cv. Trs.i. 138, n. 3.
