Eine fromme Laienanhängerin aus Nāḷandā, die beim Hören der Lehre des Buddha Stromeingetretene wurde und nach dem Tod in Tāvatiṃsa wiedergeboren wurde, wo Mahā-Moggallāna ihre Geschichte erfuhr.

A female lay disciple (upāsikā) of Nāḷandā, a very good woman.

She listened to the Buddha teaching and became a Stream-winner.

After death she was born in Tāvatiṃsa, where Mahā-Moggallāna met her and learnt her story. Vv.ii.6; VvA.114 f.
