Person바라나시(Bārāṇasī)의 백만장자의 아들로, 깟사빠 붓다(Kassapa) 밑에서 출가한 후 저명한 스승이 되었고, 도솔천(Tusita)에 다시 태어났으며, 후의 인간 생에서 다시 출가하여 아라한이 되었다.
In the past he had been a millionaire’s son of Bārāṇasī and had joined the Order under Kassapa Buddha, becoming famous as a teacher. After death he was born in Tusita, and in this life was born among men, with a fragrant body hence his name. He entered the Order and became an Arahant. Ap.ii.459-63.
