Vegaḷiṅga
Place憍萨罗国的一座城镇，是乔提波罗的朋友伽提伽罗的居所；佛陀在憍萨罗国长期驻锡期间，曾造访迦叶佛过去教导乔提波罗的那座寺院，并在此宣说《陶师经》。

A township (nigama) where lived Ghaṭīkāra, friend of Jotipāla (S.i.34, 60).
The township was in Kosala, and once, during his long stay in Kosala, the Buddha visited the monastery (ārāma) in which Kassapa Buddha had taught Jotipāla, and there he himself taught the Ghaṭīkāra Sutta. M.ii.45 ff.
