Personसाकेत का एक करोड़पति और निगण्ठों का अनुयायी, जिसका पुत्र अनाथपिण्डिक की पौत्री चूळ-सुभद्दा से विवाहित था; बुद्ध को सुनकर स्रोतापन्न बना, उसने अपने उद्यान से निगण्ठों को बलपूर्वक निकाल दिया और उसे काळकाराम नाम से बुद्ध के लिए एक विहार बनाने हेतु दान कर दिया।
A millionaire of Sāketa and follower of the Nigaṇṭhas whose son married Anāthapiṇḍika’s granddaughter Cūḷa-Subhaddā; converted to Stream-entry on hearing the Buddha, he forcibly evicted the Nigaṇṭhas from his park and gave it, as the Kāḷakārāma, to build a monastery for the Buddha.
