  • Một triệu phú ở Sāketa và là tín đồ của phái Nigaṇṭha, con trai ông cưới cháu gái của Anāthapiṇḍika là Cūḷa-Subhaddā; sau khi nghe Đức Phật thuyết pháp và chứng quả Nhập Lưu, ông đã dùng vũ lực trục xuất phái Nigaṇṭha khỏi khu vườn của mình và dâng nó, với tên gọi Kāḷakārāma, để xây một tu viện cho Đức Phật.
