スリランカのランバカンナ王（西暦307–309年）で、一般にシリサンガボーディと呼ばれ、その善良さと、貧しい男が懸賞金を得られるよう自らの首を差し出した伝説で名高い。

A Lambakaṇṇa king of Sri Lanka (307–309 CE), generally called Sirisaṅghabodhi, renowned for his goodness and for the legend of surrendering his own head to a poor man so he could claim the bounty placed on it.
