Support
Support this Dhamma and Pāḷi Tipiṭaka library for the AI age
Tipitaka.ai is a Pāḷi Tipiṭaka AI digital library, open to everyone for free. Your subscription or offering helps keep it running.
Why support is needed
Tipitaka.ai charges no one. But every search and answer has real costs in compute, storage, and operation. What keeps it alight is a limited maintainer budget, together with the quiet generosity of supporters.
Precept-keeping monastics receive Pro free for life — this is Tipitaka.ai’s duty, and a lifelong promise.
For monastics who keep the Vinaya, handling money is not simple; yet they are often the very people who most need deep canonical search, preparation, practice, and answering questions. What supporters make possible is not a purchased seat, but the merit of unobstructed access to the Dhamma.
There are no “pay to unlock” features here
The three Supporter · Pro tiers have exactly the same capabilities. Paying more does not buy more; it becomes an indirect act of giving.

You may want to know
Is the free version very limited?
No. The free version also provides full search and source tracing, with enough quota for everyday use. We do not intend to weaken the free version to push people toward payment; that would go against the wish to keep the Dhamma widely accessible.
How will my support be used?
Mainly for model calls, search, storage, bandwidth, and daily maintenance, and to sustain the promise of lifetime free access for precept-keeping monastics. Your subscription gives you Pro quota; what exceeds your own usage cost returns to the continued operation of the service.
Can I stop supporting at any time?
Yes. After you cancel, Pro remains available through the current billing period; when that period ends, your account returns to the free plan. One-time offerings do not renew.
How can monastics receive support?
After signing in, open “Monastic verification” from the user menu and submit your Dhamma name, monastery, and related information. Once manually verified, you can use Pro quota permanently.
This is not a purchase, but an offering. What you truly support is this small tool itself: that it may remain long-lived, clean, reliable, and help more people draw near to the texts and to the Dhamma.
“Support · offering · dāna” refers to voluntary support for this service. It is not a charitable donation, and tax-deductible receipts are not available at this time.
