Devaputta
Placeパータリプッタから十五由旬離れたインドの都市で、シーハクンバ僧院の所在地であり、ルーパデーヴィーとカンチャナデーヴィーの生誕地でもある。かつて仏陀の鉢舎利がここに安置され祭礼が行われ、アショーカ王の時代にはこの都市と同名の王が治めていた
A city in India, fifteen leagues from Pāṭaliputta. In it was the Sīhakumbha-vihāra.
It was the birthplace of Rūpadevī and Kañcanadevī.
At one time the Buddha’s Bowl Relic was there and celebrations were held in its honour.
The king of Devaputta, in the time of Asoka, was also called Devaputta. Ras.i.25, 34, 80.
