Maṇipāsāda
OtherJeṭṭhatissa 가 Lohapāsāda 를 칠층으로 재건하고 값진 보석을 봉헌한 후 붙여진 이름으로, 훗날 Coḷa 인들에 의해 불태워졌다가 마침내 Mahinda 4세에 의해 복원되었다
The name given to the Lohapāsāda, after it had been rebuilt in seven storeys by Jeṭṭhatissa.
He offered to the building a jewel worth sixty thousand, hence its name.
The building was worth ten million (Mhv.xxxvi.125).
The Coḷā burnt it down, and Udaya IV tried to rebuild it, but died before the work was completed (Cv.liii.51). This was done by Mahinda IV. Cv.liv.48.
